OS/2 3.0/Warp upgrade price?

   Did IBM extend the date for OS/2 2.1 purchases eligible
   for rebate? I looked at the back of one of the coupons
   on the shelf at CompUSA and it said the original purchase
   of OS/2 had to be made before 10/31/94.

Yes -- it has been extended to 12/31/94.  There was a post regarding
this on "comp.os.os2.announce" a few weeks ago.

They sure would have pissed off a lot of people otherwise...
