	How about forgetting sound altogether?

I am ashamed to admit that the TP's built-in sound was something
of a selling point for me, but despite having sound on my TP and a perfectly
good soundblaster card in my Desktop machine, I have yet to see a legitimate,
bonified reason to have sound on a computer (with the *possible* exception
of showing video for some kind of dog-and-pony show presentation).

Other than that possible exception, all I see are sounds for silly
games, educational stuff for kiddies, and horny XXX videos on CD-ROM.

Face it--for 99.9% of the population, sound on your computer is
simply a nice cutsie feature that really has no purpose other than to
impress your friends. Dump it and get on with the real work (that is,
unless you're editing video clips, in which case you should probably
just stick to using an Amiga and a Video Toaster).
