I paid $767 +tax for the CMS 540Mb drive. The IBM 520Mb drive (from the
same vendor) goes for $1170 +tax. That's over $400 difference! Geesh!
By the way, CMS does not have any larger capacity drives available right
now. They say there are plans in the works for a 1Gb-class unit, but
availability is a problem so they haven't announced it yet. The IBM 810Mb
drive (at $1792!) is also very scarce -- we have not been able to latch onto
any lately. Sigh.
