tp755cd mouse problem

hi everyone,

i have a problem launching DOS applications from Windows when i use the 
serial mouse attached to the serial port. i've disabled the TrackPoint, 
and the mouse worked fine in Windows. But, the system just hang the 
moment i clicked on PC-DOS prompt or any other DOS applications. Once i 
re-enabled the TrackPoint III, the DOS apps. worked as normal. Has 
anybody encountered such a problem ? what do i need to do ?

Btw, i'm using TP755CD, and i've enjoyed it very much !
