The only thing I would say is to *not* leave your battery in
if you leave your ThinkPad plugged in on a regular basis. This forces
the battery into a light charge/discharge cycle (down to 90%, then back
up to 100% again...down to 90%...).
It wreaks havoc with your battery life.
