Linux+dosemu+superstor....

Hello,

I wonder if somebody on this list ever succeeded to access a compressed DOS
partition. My TP comes with SuperStor. I made a 40MB DOS partition and decided
to use Superstor so as to get approximatively 80MB of DOS free space.
I have kept 4MB of non-compressed space (logically D:).

I used dosemu0.60, my DOS *physical* DOS parition is named /dev/hda1.
So I inserted the following line in the /etc/dosemu.conf file:
disk { partition "/dev/hda1" }

And commented my diskimage configuration.

Now when I boot the system, I get the DOS banner "Lancement d'IBM DOS...."
(french language spoken here). The superStor driver has been found on the
partition. I see Compressed UNIT: C:, NON compressed unit: D: (or something very similar).

The DOS executes the config.sys, I use a file with multiple menu choices.
The selection comes up normally. But after my selection is made, the DOS
fails indicating that command.com cannot be found in C:\command.com
(I do have one actually).

I made the same but this time I previously removed the config.sys and
autoexec.bat. I get the same result: command.com not found on C:. the
system does not seem to recognize the compressed unit. Luckily, I have a
copy of my command.com on the non compressed unit (D:). When I launch
D:\command.com, it's ok but going to C: gives me an error.

Does someone already have the same problem ? Is there something special
to indicate in the /etc/dosemu.conf file ? Or perphaps is there known
incompatibilites between dosemu and superstor ?

Thanks!
