I have a 755C, and the only way I could get sound for doom was to attach
my Thinkpad to a DockII equipped with a Soundblaster card... that combo
works fine, but I was never able to get the Soundblaster emulation to
work.   Perhaps you can post (or email) copies of your config.sys and
autoexec.bat.... I'd be really interested to know how you did this.
