Hi, In going keeping up with my constant attempts to give my TP an identity complex, I'm back to Linux... I'm still running X11R5 though, and i need to find out the dot clocks that i can assign to the video card, I have an external monitor that is supported by linux, but I can't seem to get anything higher than 640x48 If anyone out there is using their TP's with an external monitor under linux, I would really appreciate it if you could send me your Xconfig (or whatever it is called in X11R6 since I will install it if I have to) BTW, if anyone is keeping score, I switched back to linux because i am much more confortable with gcc than gcc/2 or anything else (besides, it's free! :) Thanks in advance! Art PS: does anyone have the sound stuff working under linux? as far as I know, it does work but there is some sort of propietary coding involved and they can't release it to us... any hope that I can annoy my lab mates with Doom special effects?
