I have been using the Optima 28.8 PCMCIA for a couple weeks now.  It 
works just fine.  It has flash BIOS and X-Jack.  The Thinkpad PCMCIA 
drivers recognize the card with no problems.

Additionally it powers down to a mode where it only uses 5 mA.  The   
Megahertz 28.8 only powers down to 50 mA.  Maybe those batteries will 
last longer!
