Seeing the interest on this list in using various flavors of UNIX-like systems (especially *BSD, Linux) I'm wondering if there's enough interest in UNIX-on-a-thinkpad for a separate list. Relevant topics might include XFree86 setup, pcmcia setup, power management, etc., all under UNIX. I would expect the list to be heavily biased toward "free" UNIXen, but those who use commercial UNIX ports would probably be tolerated as well. Please send mail to moore@cs.utk.edu if you're interested in such a list, and/or have comments on what the list should cover. (e.g. should it be thinkpad-specific or should it apply to all x86 laptops running unix?) (I won't create such a list until I have a better idea of what might fly...) Keith
