Hard drive upgrades (Was: Can we drop this?)

The thing is that with the plastic case, IBM has rigged it so that you
can't use your old drive if you buy elsewhere.  I recall a couple people
posting they got 3rd party drives with non-IBM cases.  I asked a couple
of the companies named on this list and none sold the case separately.
Has anyone found a source for just the case?  Maybe one of you with a
non-IBM case can name the manufacturer?

When is Solaris due out?  I seem to recall a similar press release a
couple years ago regarding Solaris for the Intel 80x86 platform.
