	Pricing does come under the marketing categoy though, and in
this sense, IBM did indeed screw up this marketing maneuver.

	The biggest issue was that Sony refused to license Beta until
too late, and when they did, the licensing fee was way past reasonable
(not unlike the MCA thing above).  When they finally *did* get it right,
it was too late--VHS reached critical mass and the rest is history.

	They still have their professional market niche though.  :)
