Hi all, Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find any references in the mailing list archives. I've just purchased a second TP755CX w/24MB RAM and a 1.2GB drive to run Linux on. I've got Linux loaded (kernel 1.2.13), along with X (XFree86 3.1.2). Also the PCMCIA package. Everything works great, *except* I can't seem to get X to run in 800x600 on the LCD (active matrix, not dualscan). It runs fine at 640x480, and I can get all resolutions from 640x480 to 1150x900 on an external monitor. None of the Linux docs have helped me, nor has IBM or the ThinkPad manual. Has anyone here tried running X on a ThinkPad LCD at 800x600? If so, *please* send me the relevant lines from your XF86config file. Much appreciated in advance, --Jim Lee jlee@ece.orst.edu
