suspend recovery problem

Occasionaly, when my TP755CD suspends, (specifically if I open the keyboard to 
swap the 3.5 for the CD-ROM) the machine will not "wake up"......I open the 
keyboard to a blank screen and the only way to get it back is to turn it off 
and start over....

Any suggestions......
