Hello,
      I hope that this is the place to send me mail....I have a friend who 
 bought a ThinkPad 360 series...there are several problems, however.  The 
 person who bought it, bought it used.  The reason it was sold used is 
 because the guy that had it before, forgot the password to the hard 
 drive.
 
      IBM keeps telling us that the hard drive is now a WONDERFUL 
 paperweight, but being a Microcomputer Specialist in the military, I am 
 not apt to believe it.
 
      There has got to be something out there that will allow us to take 
 this password off of this hard drive...and I looking for it....canna go 
 through IBM, as they want us to buy a new hard drive (go fig, right?).
 
      Any help that you can give me will be appreciated.
