I've also had the ALPs GlidePoint working P&P in Win95, as long as I used the
buttons on the GlidePoint. What I was not able to do was use a tap on the pad
as a click rather than clicking the button itself. Why? I haven't a clue. The
Alps GlidePoint documentation specifically states that you can plug it in and
use it, but that drivers must be installed to provide tap/click capabilites.
With the TP safely (?) back at work, I plugged the ALPs Glidepoint into my
desktop PC running Win 3.1 and was able to use it, but did not have tap/click
capabilities until I ran the Install program on the disk.
Oh, well; so much for today's fun! Anybody else out there?
