external monitor on dock II

whats the deal ?  i cant seem to find much in the documentation.

what i was wondering was, was type of resolution you can get 
attaching an external monitor to the dock II ?

if i really wanted to go nuts, i assume i could throw a stealth
board into one of the ISA slots.  right ?
