ThinkPad 755CD Trackpoint/Mouse conflict
I am trying to use my Thinkpad 755CD as a desktop replacement. I set it so I
can close the clamshell. I attach and external mouse. Then, one in 3 double
clicks fails, and one in 5 single clicks (intermittently) fails. Bummer!!!
I disable the trackpoint, reboot, and ... the mouse works perfectly.
I am seeing some type of conflict between the "active" trackpoint in my
closed machine and the externally connected mouse. It seems others aren't
having the same problem I am...but I am not sure.
If you've had this problem, have you come up with a solution, short of
turning the trackpoint off when you use it as a desktop, and turning it back
on before you go home (also a bummer).
I am using Win 95 and a PS/2 connected mouse (happens to be a DELL mouse,
but I've had the same result with others).
Thanks
