Excuse the mail that is a repeat of one I mailed a few months ago, but I
(the whole company) have lost 6 days of mail, and someone mailed me recently
to ask how to use the MWave sound with Linux

You can use the soundblaster emulation under linux by booting linux from
DOS, using 'loadlin' after doing the 'mwgames on'  Use the SB16 drivers.

The modem doesn't work this way, it seems to need DOS level support.  I
haven't tried using dosemu, but it might work if you tinker with the IO
permission map.
