Hello there!
I'm just new to this list, so here's a little intro.
I just recently got a ThinkPad 701C. It's the Dx4/75 with a 540meg drive.
I also got another 8 meg with it, so it has 16 altogether. I'm rather
annoyed that the modem is not approved in my country and is, therefore,
absent.
More or less I'm rather happy with it. It's small, light and ideal as long
as you don't try anything CPU-crunching. :)
I was wondering, however, if any of you have this problem:
It seems that my screen experiences color distortions. Some colors in a
pallette tend to go 'bad' sometimes, rather intermittently. My friend who
has the same machine but with an older version of the BIOS never had this
problem, but after he flashed to 3O, he did. Flashing to 3O, needless to
say, did not correct the problem for me, either.
anyone?
lemme hear ya? how many of you out there? ;)
