Thanks to those of you that responded, I am now in touch with:
"Portable Enhancements, The Portable Upgrade ExpertsTM"
He says they can upgrade my (surface mounted) 486/33 in a 360C to either a
DX4/100 or DX4/133. I am stil waiting for the cost - but this sounds good
considering that the laptop is otherwise pretty good.
My latest questions for all of you are (and I hope this doesn't start too much
of a debate)
1) has anyone dealt with these people? If so - experiences welcome (I'm
nervous shipping my laptop off to someone I've never met)
2) has anyone done this with someone else? If so - experiences and references
welcome.
3) Any obvious problems I sould look out for? Someone suggested that heat and
reduced battery life could be problems.
Thanks again for your input.
