hello all, thanks to all of you who answered about my problem. i'd just like to clarify it here. i installed win95 on a clean partition, after running the latest system service diskette from ibm, which patched the bios to v3O and i also used that weird win95 setup disk. everything, i might add seems to work, all the APM functions, suspend, etc.. windows95 seems to be able to tell when the AC supply is removed, since the plug on the systray turns to a battery meter, .. that's when it hangs on me .. i tried switching of the display on the systray, but that didn't fix it either. could it be my APM for pcmcia? oh well, i only just thought of that one. i'll go try that out later and tell you folx abt it :) sam -Email skat@pacific.net.sg-------------------- -^^^Introducing..
