        If this is true, I'd like to buy one.

        But offhand, I'm willing to bet that article got something wrong.
Lithium requires a different charging cycle which is not likely built-in to
the 701's charging method.  NiMH and NiCD use virtually the same charging
cycle, but Lithium's is different enough that you can't just stick it in
and charge it the same way you would one of these others.  (don't ask me
the electical details, but my father was involved in designing batteries
for a while and told me this).

        So I'm guessing Byte go something wrong--or that you have to buy a
separate external charger to use this battery.
