Re: source for hard drives

I've been using a MiniStor 131MB (uncompressed) PCMCIA drive for
almost a year now and haven't managed to break it. This is under
DOS/Win 3.1. It came with a driver that double spaced the drive
to 260 MB. I had problems with using the drive with compression
(which may have been my fault) and since I was planning to use
Linux I stopped using the compression.

Unfortunately there isn't a Linux driver for the drive (yet). If
anyone knows of one please let me know.

The drive came with a plastic box which protects it when it's in
my backpack.

My option is that the drive is well made and I would buy it again.

Have fun,

Alan.
