Thinkpad 560 with 30 day no questions money back?

I bought my 755CE directly from IBM with a 30 day money back
guarantee, but now IBM no longer sells directly this way.  They refer
you to a retailer, and apparantly the terms are return for defect
only.  Does anyone know a way to buy a 560 on similary terms?  How
about one of the other new subnotes?  I need to verify full Linux
compatibility before I can commit to a machine.
