760ED/Windows95

I've been getting acquainted with an IBM 760ED this past week and must
say, the results are truely delightful! This latest Thinkpad release
is really the greatest! Its so enjoyable to sit back in my easy chair, with
music playing in the CD-Rom port, the phone line hooked to the
Internet at 26,400 baud rate, and the 133 MHz Pentium chip slicing
those web pages like warm butter! Can computing possibly get better?

I do have a question for someone more experienced with IBM's
software distribution mechanism. I've backed up the Windows 95
operating system, as well as each of the driver sets mentioned in the User's
Guide. My problem is to determine the VERSION NUMBER of the various
driver sets, and how to find out when new versions are published.
Has anyone figured that one out? Thanks,
