I solve this by having a kit of connectors that is world wide usable. It is
not such a big kit, and although it is nice to be able to use standard
cables I would not rely on being able to trot off to the local friendly
computer store in Bulgaria to find such a cable :-)
By the way, I know someone complained about Tecra-vs-Thinkpad discussions,
but I think that a number of people on this list are interested, and indeed
one of the functions of the discussion here is to dig up differences so that
people can make the right choice.
