I have the same configuration like Vic (TP760ED+Select-A-Dock) and unfortunally the same problems. It seems that the first power-on with TP's power switch never works for me. I have to power off and on again and then it is working fine. If I switch the power off after a shutdown and then immediately switch it on again it also works fine. I agree that this situation is unacceptable but so far nobody (not even IBM) told me a solution to this problem. For me is the conclusion: I bought too early, should have waited for the Toshiba Tecra 730CDT! Carsten Seibert (seibert@al.esec.ch)
