My trackpoint mouse button went flakey on my TP755cx and I sent it back for easy serve. The keyboard was terribly noisy, unlike my TP755c, so I asked the tech abouth the two different keyboards. He said there was only one for the TP755cx, but when the new one arrived it was much quieter than the old one. My guess is that there is some variation in munufauturing and the tech picked a quiet one per my request.
