Maybe! ;-)
I don't understand this--the Serial port on the 701 port replicator
is a standard 9-pin serial port. True, there is/was a serial port with more
pins in it, but the vast majority of the time, simple adapters do the trick.
But it seems to me you could just stick a standard modem cable on
that modem & to your 701's port replicator & you're in business.
