I've been off the list for a few months. Does anyone know the current status of Xfree86 on the 755cx? Last I'd heard, in order to use 800x600 mode you had to boot MSDOS, run the IBM utility to set the screen mode, then boot Linux; but also that someone was trying to adapt the X server to avoid this kludge. So I'm wondering what the state of things is now, as I prefer to not have to mess with booting DOS. thanks
