No Subject



Hi,

	I just got maplay 1.2 compiled under Linux Kernel 2.0.0 on my IBM
Thinkpad 701C. It has a ESS688 chipset for sound. It is SB compatatible
and has support for 16bit playback/recording.
	The kernel has SB support compiled in it.
	When I tried to play a mpeg audio layer II file, I get the
following errorr.... The music plays for like about 10-20 seconds, then
dies with the error......

Sound: DMA (output) timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error?
write to /dev/dsp failed: I/O error
