RE: 755CD vs 760ED

Kate:

I have, and the jury is still out

I do like the 12.1 inch screen and the Pentium 133 processor but there
are some of the things that are not quite ready for prime time yet.
But depending on how long you have had your 755 they were not ready
for that box when it first came out either.

My biggest complaint is the keyboard it works OK but you have to hit
the key harder than on the 755 and it takes a little getting used to.
I bet a touch typest would go crazy????

Subject: 755CD vs 760ED

I've been interested in upgrading from my 755CD to the 760ED but have
started to hesitate about doing so because of some of the things I've
read
here about the 760ED--heat, problem with hot-swapping CD-ROM/floppy
drive,
mushy keyboard, etc. (I really like the 755CD keyboard.) Has anyone
made
the move from a 755CD to a 760ED who can express their
opinions/regrets/satisfaction?
