I don't think deleting this proves any problems. It is simply a file that
the machine writes to when you set it into hibernation. This file should
be proportional to the amount of ram you have. If you don't have this file
on your system, it can be created at any time. Therefore, you don't even
need it if you're never going to hibernate. And if you are, just create
one.
