Interesting.  I've had exactly the opposite experience.  Every time
I do a full discharge/recharge, I lose about 4 minutes on the meter.
I did partial discharges for about 6 months without any change in the
100% meter time, then I did a full discharge (by accident, didn't
realize it was unplugged :) and immediately lost 4 more minutes.

How long have you had the battery?  Maybe the behavior changes with
age?
