  When Merlin is installed only some generic drivers are used.  IBM included
  a Device Driver CD that is browsed by using a Web Browser (They also have
  a on-line version on one of the sites).
  
  If you look under the "SYSTEMS" menu item you will see a entry for IBM.
  Select that and you get a list of Aptivas, Thinkpads, etc.  Selecting
  your system will enable you to get the various driver sets
  (video, sound, etc.) needed.  Follow the instructions.
