I have similar experience with a 5 months old 760ELD and YES, IBM does
make lemons. I spoke with the IBM's rep. at Atlanta N+I '96 and she
admitted that it does sounded like a lemon. It's like paying good money
for a car that always in the shop.
Where do you think IBM get the machines that they sell as re-furbished
units?
