Re: TP:"Too Hot for Lap" 755CX Laptop
Hey, hey, hey,
Are you a politician, a political reporter or what? ;-)
What I said was in response to someone who tried to use a pillow with his
thinkpad since it was too hot for him.
My 760ELD does not like to sit on anything else except on a horizontally
leveled desk, but if putting a pillow beneath helping it from locking up,
I'll definitely give it some thoughts.:-)
When I travel with this machine, it oftens turn into a very expensive CD
player since the keyboard and mouse always locked up if the machine is
moved around and make me "THINK" about dropping it out of the plane.

I don't understand, do you mean when you use your thinkpad at an office,
you bring a pillow with you instead of putting it on a desk? :)
I leave my TP on all the time, on some kind of hard surface, with the
feet
extended, and the heat is reasonable. The few times I've left it sitting
on a blanket or carpet for a long time the heat is amazingly higher..
