Hi Folks, I was wondering if I might call on the collective wisdom of this list to find out about Thinkpad memory upgrades. My situation is this: I have a TP750 (mono) with an existing IBM 8MB module (and that's when a total of 12MB was a lot of RAM) and I now want to upgrade to the max. As far as I know, that involves a 36MB module to take the unit to 40MB total. Has anybody tried this and can therefore confirm it works? Are there any particular dealers I should be contacting for the best prices and should I be avoiding some others? Do any dealers offer to buy back existing modules? IBM used to do this but seem to have stopped now.
