Re: Comatose 365X v 760E



I just received my new 760ED last week. Yes, it gets very hot, and I would
assume that since the units are very similar, the 760E will do the same.
You can call IBM (after your experience I'm sure you are glad to hear
that!) and they will ship you a new bottom cover with a 'thermal plastic
transfer compound' that is supposed to help this problem, although it will
not stop it.

As far as the 365 memory working with the 760, I cannot say for sure, but I
do not think that it will. I'm sure that someone else will clear this up.

I strongly recomend the 760 series. The performance, screen quality, and
fit and finish are incredible. Hopefully you won't ever have to send back
to IBM!
