Warp and PCMCIA problems

After reformatting my Thinkpad 701C HD containing Warp v3.0 and installing
Warp v4.0, I wound up with some PCMCIA problems that did not previously
exist. Namely, PCMCIA PNP for OS/2 had trouble assigning an IRQ to a
PCMCIA modem that worked GREAT in Warp v3.0.

Well, I just read the part of the Thinkpad README that says I should have
used the Diskette Factory to make some PCMCIA support diskettes, and that
I should NOT have chosen to add PCMCIA support during the installation of
Warp, and that I should have used the diskettes (that I never created) to
add PCMCIA support after OS/2 was installed.

So, Now that I installed OS/2 Warp v4.0 WITH PCMCIA support, and since I
never created those PCMCIA diskettes from the Diskette Factory before
formmating the drive, how am I going to get where I need to be??? OS/2's
selective UNinstall does not offer uninstall of PCMCIA support
