We just bought a Micron laptop with OSR2 on it; since I've not before
been a W95 user I can't really compare, but I *did* learn one thing:
some drivers, written for W95, will crash OSR2.  This happened when I
tried to install drivers for my Lexmark Optra.  After the crash, and I
reinstalled the OS etc, I found a discussion of this on the Lexmark
site.  They claim that the new API is unstable.
