24 mb is OK for NT. No problem. But, you need a lot of HDD space to
install it. NT is not much bigger than Windows 95, but much stable. The
problem is the installation program makes a copy of the distribution
without installing diretly from the CDROM. I don't know why. Anyway, I
don't have a CDROM. So, what I did is: copy the distribution into HDD
(130MB). Run winnt.exe in DOS which makes 3 boot disks &
installation image in HDD (consume another 130MB). If you still have
100MB+ space, go on the installation by rebooting. If not, remove the copy
of the distribution, and go on. I still looking for right drives for video
& sound. I remember NT CDROM has them somewhere. Well.
