True, although I suspect that this is a happy accident rather than design.

As a semi-related side observation, I have an IBM-made OEM drive that came
out of an Apple Powerbook that works just fine in my 760C's main drive bay,
but is completely invisible to the UltraBay. I've used other IBM OEM
drives in the UltraBay without any problem.
