If you have a CD player on your desktop, there is (free, downloadable) software which will let you access that CD from your laptop. Look for CDLINK at your favorite site, or let me know and I'll dig out the company's URL. (To be honest I've never tried it, I downloaded it right before my TP701 started to flake out, over 2 months ago now. Maybe I'll get a chance to try it this week - IBM assures me that there's a replacement machine on its way, no kidding this time.) - David R.
