there is one other possibility. the helpcenter is in building 203. 919-517-0000 is the building 203 lobby. the receptionist can transfer you to the control desk. the control desk can transfer you to the thinkpad group. now, i can't promise you that the receptionist *will* transfer you to the control desk, but if you can talk her into it, she can get you there. you'd still have to bounce the laptop through someone in the states to get it to ezserv, but at least you'll have a lena case number for them. this email will self-destruct in five seconds...
