Bob, like so many others w/701's go through the w95 install blues when 311
works fine. Why make the switch if all was ok?
I also know that there are many on the group who have made the switch but
there were some suspend/hibernate problems that always scared me off and I
never heard whether the pc card issues were solved completely.
So, why make the change if all works fine. And if the shift to W95 is to be
done are there concessions to the system that must be made and especially to
the all important suspend function (for those of us that must use the
battery a lot)?
Finally and -and sorry for the diversion Bob- could someone tell this non 95
guy whether the problems I've read about are completely resolvable or just
managable. Ah, and does the newer 95 help or hurt all this on a 701?
Thanks all,
Bryan
