Nikon Coolpix 100 and TP701

Hi,

   Has anyone tried using the Nikon Coolpix 100 digital camera 
with a ThinkPad 701?  This is the digital camera with a PCMCIA
'card' sticking out of the body (normally slides into the battery 
pack) that can be inserted in a PCMCIA slot for data transfer.
It should be great for use with a laptop; my only concern is that
since the keyboard protrudes above the card slot, the camera may
not fit properly. The camera is amazingly thin, but still just
by looking at the photograph of the camera, it seems to be a close
call.  Has anyone had a chance to try out this combination?
