The plastic surface of the LCD screen is actually softer than most eyeglass lenses. This doesn't mean that the eyeglass cleaning kit is inappropriate. I use a microfiber cloth w/out any fluid on my screen. Use the kind of cloth good photo stores supply, not the cheaper kind that opticians carry. These cloths can lift oil etc. w/out fluid, and are soft enough not to scratch the delicate coatings on expensive camera lenses. - David
