no. I don;t think my RAM is the problem, the test runs I ran said that my
RAM was fine.

My parallel ports fine...that is I can print with no problems.

THe problems came when I upgraded the BIOS to 1.24.
I also upgraded to IE3.0 at about the same time. Would that have been a
problem?

On the same note the welcome screen is still faulty(blessing in disguise!)
